The Leading Texas High School Football Radio Show
Chris Doelle sits down with Matthew Beeler Strength and DEs coach for Cypress Ridge High School to talk about his decision to donate a portion of his liver to fellow coach, John McWilliams.
I cannot tell you how personally inspiring this story is. Matthew Beeler, the Cypress Ridge coach is someone I have known for a very long time. We first met when he played for the Texas Copperheads arena football team and I was working in their marketing department doing a weekly radio show.
Beeler, a former Katy Tiger, Texas State Bobcat and Hempstead coach has really raised the bar when it comes to putting others first.

In 2014 Coach McWilliams received a diagnosis that will require a liver transplant. Many people offered to serve as living donors. Our own Coach Beeler was tested and found to be a perfect living donor match. He will travel to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester to undergo the transplant process with Coach McWilliams. The transplant is scheduled to take place March 26, 2015.
This is another example of our RAM Family showing Ram Pride by going to any length to help out.
- THANK YOU Coach Beeler and Good Luck to Coach McWilliams!!PRAYER AT THE POLE MARCH 26TH
