In this episode of the Paschal Baseball show, host Chris Doelle interviews Coach Clint Dunham of the Paschal Panthers baseball team. They discuss the team's recent performance where they went 2-3 against a mix of top-ranked and lower-ranked teams. Coach Dunham expresses satisfaction with the team's efforts, especially how they responded to adversity and their pitching performances, including a no-hitter by Tex Shope. They also touch on areas for improvement, particularly in the offense and walk-to-strikeout ratio. The conversation shifts to the upcoming Drew Medford tournament, hosted by Paschal, which is significant as it memorializes a former player who passed away. The tournament includes 29 teams, awarding $1,000 scholarships to one player from each team. Coach Dunham talks about the emotional and community aspects of the tournament and the criteria for awarding the scholarships. Looking ahead, the team is preparing for a busy week with six games, including the district opener against South Hills. Coach Dunham is optimistic about the team's potential and their readiness to compete.
