Top Texas Prospects
Season 3, Episode 8 
Episode notes: -------------------------------- Week 1 of the 2021 Texas High School football season kicked off and there were some upsets and surprises. Matt Davidson and Marc Henry talk about the week and what teams they saw in action. Marc begins with the Arygle vs Nolan contest at Allen Eagle Stadium. Argyle is coming off a State Championship in 2020 and Nolan was the runner up in TAPPS 6A after falling short against Parish Episcopal. Marc explains that Arygle was dominant from start to finish. He explains that the Eagles were dominant on both defensive and offensive lines which led them to a big victory. Marc also was front and center for the Jerry Jones Classic at The Star in Frisco, Texas for Ryan vs Longview. Both teams came in highly ranked in the state of Texas, with Ryan being the defending State Champ in 5A D1. Longview ran into a buzz saw in the Raiders, who have the top rated linebacker in the class of 2023 in Anthony Hill. Hill also lined up at running back and his backfield mate Kalib Hicks ran for 139 yards and three touchdowns. The Lobos has several turnovers, which included a pick six and a block punt. Ryan looks to be the favorite in 5A D1. Marc also attended the Duncanville vs Mater Dei contest in the Dallas area. A big time matchup of Texas vs California. Mater Dei came out smoking and ran off to a 45-3 victory over the Panthers. Top Texas Prospects own Matt Davidson is now the football PA stadium announcer for Grand Prairie High School in the Dallas area. Matt talks about the Gophers' opening week win vs South Garland, 67-6. Matt explains that the Gophers may be on the verge of becoming a playoff contender in 2021. Matt talks about the play of SMU committ Savion Red, who this year has made the switch to quarterback. Matt also tells us about the stellar play of the GP offensive line and how they lead the Gophers to a big win. Next, Matt talks about the South Grand Prairie game, who came up short against in week 1. Lastly, he gives us a preview of the Grand Prairie vs McKinney Boyd game on Thursday September 2, 2021 in McKinney, Texas. Third Coast Gridiron Marc Henry gives you all the scoop - everything you need to know about Houston area high school football. Season 2 Episode 2 
Today Marc talks with C/O 2022 DB DeJuan Lewis from Shadow Creek HS. Lewis is one of the top returning starters for the Sharks defense and has gained recognition around the State of Texas heading into the 2021 season. DeJuan explains how he began playing sports at an early age and how his parents being athletes helped him fall in love with football and baseball. DeJuan talks about his senior season this year. Lewis explains how he watches film and videos to help his game. As a defensive back, Lewis explains that he takes pride in being a leader on the Shadow Creek defense. Shadow Creek High School has been a state champ in recent years on the 5A level, which Lewis explains has helped him develop into the player he is today. DeJuan takes his academics seriously as a student athlete, which has allowed him to picked college offers from Cologate, Nevada and Air Force. Lewis is a two sport star, who is also a big time baseball recruit. Marc breaks down several of the top teams in Houston, as well a two big games featuring playoff teams from 2020. Marc also feature three HISD teams: Yates, Lamar, and Heights. Third Coast Gridiron Marc Henry gives you all the scoop - everything you need to know about Houston area high school football. Season 2 Episode 1 Today’s guests on Third Coast Gridiron are Hunter Vivaldi Wide Receiver from Bryan High School and Coach Brian Randle of Randle High School. Hunter Vivaldi is up first today. He is in the Class of 2022 at Bryan High, and is looking to have a breakout year. Hunter talks about how began playing sports and how football became his passion. Vivaldi explains a few of the key traits he uses to be an excellent wide receiver. Hunter revisits the 2020 Bryan High season, in which the Vikings made the playoffs out of District 12-6A. He gives a few details about some of his workout routines which have help him prepare for his Senior season. Hunter explains how playing with Texas Ice 7v7 has made him a better player. Vivaldi describes how playing in District 12-6A makes him a better player. Coach Randle coaches at Katy Mayde Creek in 2020, but in 2021 he is the first year Head Coach at Randle High. Coach Randle explains how tough the 2020 season was for Maybe Creek. He explains that at Randle High ,he and his coaching staff began the spring not being able to coach his team directly. He himself called up future Lions to gage their interest in playing football for Randle High. Randle High School is named after his dad Thomas Randle, who has been in education for more than twenty years.
